Jewish history in America dates back to the first days of European settlements. Although overshadowed by their 19th century counterparts, the Jewish people of Colonial America played an essential role in the shaping of the young nation. Come explore the contributions, culture and history of key groups of local men and women during and after the founding of the American nation.
Julian Blanco’s Biography:
Julian Blanco has served as a ranger at Independence National Historical Park in the past twelve years. A graduate of Drexel University, he has a degree in History & Political Science, with a focus on the Colonial and Revolutionary War eras. Originally from Philadelphia, he now lives in Delaware County with his wife, Melissa Larigan (who works at Ohev Shalom) and their three cats.
