Ohev Shalom Men's Club

Men's Club provides service to the synagogue by working with our youth on holiday programs, feeding the homeless and working with Sisterhood on many occasions including the summer picnic. We also run outings to sporting events and have activities such as bowling night and dinner with the guys. We raise funds to help purchase many items for the synagogue, including our recent purchases of a new phone system and much needed new tables. We also helped fund the Torah Restoration. We fund Junior Congregation so that our children get an early start in their participation in Jewish prayer.

Our biggest fund-raising event is our annual Rummage Sale. Every year, Men's Club sponsors speakers to further our knowledge of topics important to us as jews in today's world. Our speakers span a wide range of interests.The camaraderie of working together in order to help our synagogue in a big way provides much inner pride and satisfaction. It also enables you to form meaningful and lasting friendships.

The Ohev Shalom Men's Club welcomes all men who are synagogue members for a nominal yearly dues of $35.00. At the start of each year, dues statements as well as a letter describing some of our accomplishments from the previous year will be mailed to everyone.
